15 Personal Confidence Rituals You Need To Know
In order to become the most confident version of ourselves, we need to build a foundation of trust and connection to self. Having particular rituals and activities that allow you to do that ensures you can step into that confidence zone anytime anywhere.
Here’s your list of personal confidence rituals to pick and choose from to craft your own routine:
Create your own scared morning routine.
Take 5 minutes before every workday to stop, close your eyes, deep breathe and set your intention for the day.
Embrace the power pose - whether it’s a wonder woman pose, making yourself as big and expansive as possible, or simply shoulders back, chest and head held high.
Allocate your social scrolling time - give yourself time to indulge without doing the mindless scroll we’ve all become accustomed to.
Check your emails in scheduled spots - I try to only check my emails twice a day and I even include it in my email signature so that it sets the expectation for people on receiving a reply.
Have your go-to, I feel like a total queen in this outfit. Throwing on clothes that make you feel great can be an incredible state change into your next task.
Have a list of things you do for fun hung up somewhere in your office. On the days when you feel flat, choose something on the list to do.
If scent is your thing then a beautiful candle or diffuser with essential oils can become part of your rituals. I am obsessed with peppermint oil during the day to aid my concentration and boost my energy.
Hot baths and hot showers in Winter (I still do this year round) and cold showers or ice baths in Summer. Your body will thank you!
Find a nature view whether it’s green trees or blue ocean to give yourself a brain break
Be the master/mistress of your destiny! Embrace the fact that there is one life and one you. be vocal about it.
Prioritise the things that are most important to you. Where attention goes, energy flows.
Before every important event or meeting, close your eyes and visualise yourself at the end of that event in the best possible outcome. Embrace that feeling and go into your meeting knowing exactly what you are going to attract.
Embrace life long learning - be hungry to know more and ask questions. Read, listen and talk to people you admire.
